Weekly Diary: August 15 - 21, 2025
Weekly Diary contains what I did and how I felt during the past week. Weekly Diary will be published on my blog every Friday, For special reasons, the weekly diary will be delayed by a day or two. Let’s read my new weekly diary of August 15 - 21, 2025! This diary took place in Cincinnati, Ohio which is my hometown.
Friday, August 15 - It's Friday and I was going to see Freakier Friday! I re-watched the first movie on Disney Plus. I have seen it before and I loved it. It is still one of my childhood favorite movies. I said "I am freaking excited to see the sequel movie! Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis are freakin' back!" I laughed through the movie. After seeing the movie, I loved it so much. The sequel movie was nostalgic, hilarious, and heartwarming.
Saturday, August 16 - I went to Reds game with my caregiver, Nya, her boyfriend, and her sister. Before heading to the club section, Me and Nya stopped by her house to pick her boyfriend and her sister up. I met Nya's 4-year old son in person for the first time- he hugged me. He is a cute little boy. I've known about him before meeting him in person. We headed to the parking garage and ended up waiting in line to go up to the club section. As we arrived in the club section, we noticed that tables were packed. Therefore, we didn't get a table unfortunately. We instead went to our seats. We ate food while sitting in our seats at the game. We enjoyed watching Reds play against Brewers. We stood up in the middle of 7th inning. As of 9th inning, the Reds led 2-1 but the Brewers got a run so they forced the Reds to tie 2-2. We only left a little early to avoid traffic just before the Reds attempted to get a walk-off win but they lost 6-5 in the 11th inning.
I watched the first three episodes of the second season of Wednesday on Netflix - I felt like I would never be scared of something dark or weird, and I really enjoyed watching it. It's a great show so far. The show features some dangerous moments.
Sunday, August 17 - I stayed home all day. I got salted caramel apple crepe, scrambled eggs, and turkey sausage from Taste of Belgium for brunch via DoorDash - so delicious! I watched the last episode of the first part of the second season of Wednesday - The ending made me in shock- it was a dangerously dark but satisfying ending. I also spent time doing something quiet and relaxing. I got Hawaiian fried chicken meal for dinner via DoorDash.
Monday, August 18 - At Metzcor, I made gluten-free blueberry muffins and brownies with Therapeutic Recreation Cooking - delicious. I started watching Bob Trevino Likes It (The movie tells the story of a young woman searching for her estranged father meets a stranger who shares her dad's name so their unlikely friendship may change both of their lives) on Hulu at night but I will resume watching it tomorrow because I went to bed.
Tuesday, August 19 - I worked on my schedule. I wrote down my goals document for Independence Alliance, a local disability organization which offers disability advocacy services. Therefore, I will be working with them to make arrangements for webinars and speaking events in the future. I got my mani done. My mom made me a BLT sandwich dinner- it was delicious. I finished watching Bob Trevino Likes It on Hulu - it was a very good movie. I made tears in my eyes watching the ending of the movie. 🥺😭 The movie also features a supporting character who is a wheelchair user and client of the protagonist. Beautiful storytelling! I rate it 10/10! I recommend it.
Wednesday, August 20 - At Metzcor, I had a water fun day with my group. We just spent the morning doing water activities. I got to sit in an adaptive float on the grass with my bathing suit and water shoes. I got waxing done. I went to Olive Garden for dinner.

Thursday, August 21 - I quit searching for a remote job. I felt like I was in a job search and I was waiting for nothing to happen - it was a very frustrating and difficult experience. But I realized that the best thing I could do is to speak up for myself and show my abilities, skills, and talents to people who get to know me. Instead of trying to get a remote job, I will be pursuing my web-focused entrepreneurship and disability advocacy career full-time. Entrepreneurship and advocacy are important to me because I have a feeling that I am on a mission to follow my path to success, break barriers, and promote inclusion! My career aligns with my passion for fashion, graphic design, and digital technology.
I spent all day working on creating a post for my own business.
The past week has been great for me. It was filled with excitement, relaxation, fun, joy, laughter, positivity, and wellbeing. I am grateful for what I did during the past week. 😁🥰
