Weekly Diary: August 22 - 28, 2025
Weekly Diary contains what I did and how I felt during the past week. Weekly Diary will be published on my blog every Friday, For special reasons, the weekly diary will be delayed by a day or two. Let’s read my new weekly diary of August 22 - 28, 2025! This diary took place in Cincinnati, Ohio which is my hometown.
Friday, August 22 - I got an opportunity to go to the Bengals field with Metzcor. It was a practice before the preseason game. I met some players including Karras and McPherson. UNFORTUNATELY we didn’t get to meet the Fab 3 Burrow, Chase and Higgins. But I had a great time there.
I was called to get in - I reacted I am surprised and excited!
Afterwards, I went to PF Chang’s for dinner last night and got Freakier Friday special -refresher and pink slip ube cheesecake - what a freaking dinner!

Saturday, August 23 - my caregiving friend, Karen and I headed to a new tropical restaurant in New Richmond, 34 miles away from my home. It's called Landing Casa Del Rio. Landing Casa Del Rio is a new bar and grill nestled along the scenic Ohio River in New Richmond, Ohio. With a beautiful outdoor setting featuring riverside seating, a full bar, and a live music stage, it’s the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the view. The menu features a tasty variety of chicken, seafood, steak, and tacos, along with a full selection of beverages, including beer and margaritas.
Each of us got a "Pink Panther" piΓ±a colada swirled with a strawberry daiquiri and a banana liqueur - the cocktail is 2 foot tall. I got a Salmon Tower (layers of salmon, rice, and sliced avocado topped with a special Cajun sauce) - it was mildly spicy and delicious.

Sunday, August 24 - I had a whole fun day with my two friends, Maria and Jailyn. We made a Fabulous Visit to experience Barbie: A Cultural Icon Exhibition - 65 Years of Fashion and Inspiration @ Cincinnati Museum Center! π✨
This exhibition reminded me of my childhood memories with Barbie. I always dreamed of becoming a fashion designer and entrepreneur since I was a little girl because I used to play fashion games like Barbie fashion design on my computer. This exhibition made me a true Barbie. π✨
Today, Barbie is the most diverse doll line in the world, inspiring girls to imagine everything they can become. A role model, a muse, a best friend – Barbie means something to everyone. Step back into your childhood and join us on this exhibition of a six-decade evolution, and the making of a global icon.
Barbie™: A Cultural Icon takes you from 1959 to present day, examining how pop culture and fashion trends have shaped this global phenomenon. The exhibition celebrates Barbie as a reflection of culture, featuring a priceless collection of over 300 artifacts from the 66-year history of Barbie, including the very first 1959 doll, an original Barbie™ Dreamhouse, behind the scenes prototypes, as well as some of the most infamous Barbie dolls throughout history. There are numerous photo ops including a Barbie pink plastic car (Even though I can’t drive due to my CP, I may drive in the plastic car.. Don’t crash me! π) throughout the exhibition for shareable moments. Also, Wheelchair Barbie is displayed in this exhibition
After the exhibition, we went to Washington Park, a part of the historic neighborhood, Over-the-Rhine for a little bit. It's one of the Best Parks in Cincinnati- Washington Park is at the center of many of OTR's best restaurants, bars and entertainment. Aside from the never-ending activity and events at the park itself, you’ll find plenty to do nearby. The park has evolved over the last 150 years to accommodate the needs and aspirations of the community.
We walked out of the park to Pepp and Dolores, an Italian restaurant that serves handmade gourmet pastas. They also serve a housemade ricotta and grilled sourdough bread, three salads, and some sides to share a table. I had Funghi spaghetti with wild mushrooms tossed in a sherry cream sauce and sprinkled with Parmesan- it was delicious. We stopped by Graeter's, a famous local ice cream shop for dessert - I got a scoop of Black Raspberry Chocolate Chip (purple flavored ice cream with chocolate chips) - yummy.

Monday, August 25 - At Metzcor, I made a mini pizza on biscuit for the last cooking class- yummy.
I felt excited to start working on my web-focused entrepreneurship and disability advocacy career full-time. I had a busy productive day today- I had a virtual meeting with a local disability organization, Independence Alliance discussing my goals with the organization- we are planning for a webinar about fashion and accessibility that would be held virtually in January 2026. I worked on social media for my caregiver's cleaning company which I started this past weekend - it is a learning experience that gives me the confidence to boost my productivity through social media because I taught myself about social media which I started as a teenager. I really enjoyed working on it. I felt so proud of myself for working hard and social media. This experience makes me confident in my ability to become a total techie and maintain my productivity and efficiency.
