Weekly Diary: July 11 - 17, 2025

Weekly Diary contains what I did and how I felt during the past week. Weekly Diary will be published on my blog every Friday, For special reasons, the weekly diary will be delayed by a day or two. Let’s read my new weekly diary of July 11 - 17, 2025!  This diary took place in Cincinnati, Ohio which is my hometown.

Friday, July 11 -  I created a post about my T-shirt business on Facebook and Instagram. I noticed that many people have recognized my business and hard work. That means a lot to me. At home, I went to the deck outside with my caregiver, Nya. My mom came there and she watered flowers. Ahhh, she splashed on me through a hand sprinkler.. lol. Nya and I used a hand sprinkler to splash our legs and arms as we enjoyed our splash together. We had a great dinner from Outback via DoorDash.

Saturday, July 12 - I started my day with eating one pastry of Pop Tart blueberry lemon (185 cals) for breakfast. I exercised for 25 minutes through YouTube in the morning. I ate Sargento Snack (170 cals) and 6 slices of mandarin orange (39 cals) for lunch. I did ab crunch for 10 minutes. I worked on my list of technology capabilities for work. I went to Dewey's Pizza for dinner, it's close to my house. I ate a side of chipotle ranch salad (500 cals) and 3 slices of arugula prosciutto pizza (555 cals). I reached almost a 1.500 calorie food intake - I did it! 💪
I finished watching the third season of Ginny and Georgia. It is such a great TV show. I've loved watching every moment of the show. The show emphasizes the importance of family, friendship, and love but some moments are dramatic, scary, and crazy. I have had a lot of emotions...it made me feel so obsessed. I love it very much. I highly recommend it. I can't wait to watch the fourth season next year!

Sunday, July 13 - I exercised in bed for 20 minutes. I had Avocado Toast with 2 basted eggs and Watermelon Refresher Drink from First Watch for brunch via DoorDash. I talked with my caregiving friend, Jailyn about how we have been and what our day looks like. We headed to Boltz and Nutz farm in Loveland for adaptive cooking class. At the farm, we were making delicious Mexican dinner- enchiladas and pork with white rice and beans. I cut green tomatillos, limes, and cooked pork with a mezzaluna knife. I am right-handed and I can easily use one hand to do anything like that because of my cerebral palsy. This was my first time cutting food with an adaptive knife. It is much easier for me to cut food with a mezzaluna knife. I felt great at it. It's a perfect cutting tool for those who have the use of only one hand. I cooked enchiladas with assistance. The cooking class was fun. The Mexican dinner was delicious. Jailyn and I stopped at ScoopAble ice cream shop - I got a blueberry and cream flavor - yummy. At home, I did ab crunch for 10 minutes- it helps me reduce my belly fat.
I had a wonderful day. I felt so grateful to accomplish my ability to cut food with an adaptive knife and my goal of reducing my belly fat and following a good diet!

I was making enchiladas @ Boltz and Nutz adaptive cooking class.

Enchiladas with red sauce and green sauce & Pork with white rice, black beans, and pinto beans @ Boltz and Nutz adaptive cooking class

I stopped at ScoopAble to get blueberry and cream ice cream!

Monday, July 14 - It marks the first week since I started my journey to lose my belly fat. I have been consuming a 1,500 calorie diet and exercising regularly every day. But, I have consumed a little more than 1.500 calories a few times because I maintained my weight and exercised due to my busy schedule. I felt a little stressed about over-dieting but it's okay to maintain my weight and exercise. I think I will feel optimistic about keeping exercising and eating a 1,500 calorie diet. I am hoping to be in a great shape by the end of this year.
I exercised for 25 minutes including a 15-minute seated workout YouTube video and a 10-minute ab crunch.
I chatted with my bestie. She is 24 weeks pregnant. Her baby is doing well. I can't wait to meet my niece in a couple of months!

Tuesday, July 15 - I went bowling with Metzcor for the second week of the TR bowling league. I scored 77 points in the first game without strike or spare and 85 points in the second game with one spare. I felt bummed that I didn't reach 100 points in two games. But I enjoyed it. Next week, I will better reach the desired score!
I exercised for 15 minutes. I consumed a full 1,500 calorie diet!

BOWLING ROCKS! 🎳

Wednesday, July 16 - I tried a new Cooper Street's Banana Bread granola bar for breakfast - it's a diary free and nutritious breakfast bar. It tasted really good. It's pretty soft and chewy. I exercised for 20 minutes with two stand-ups in the morning. I created a tie-dye t-shirt design @ Metzcor so I applied a pink and rose red fabric dye to the Folding t-shirt - it was a fun and creative summer project. I ate a whole turkey Brie apple wrap my mom bought from The Fresh Market and a sugar-free jello parfait for lunch - delicious. I ate a delicious salmon dinner at Longhorn. I did ab crunch for 10 minutes at the night.

Thursday, July 17 - I enjoyed exercising and eating well. I had PT and it was great. My mom cooked Italian grilled chicken dinner- yummy and shared peach ice cream with me and my caregiver. I had a good day today.

The past week has been great for me. It was filled with excitement, relaxation, fun, joy, laughter, positivity, and wellbeing. I am grateful for what I did during the past week. 😁🥰
