My First Month of 2025

I just wanted to write a reflection on my first month of 2025 (January). January was pretty good but sometimes it was hard for me. I guess I will share some highlights of January with all of you.

I started that month with posting my re-introduction reel on social media. As the new year approaches, I am striving to succeed in my career and I will continue advocating for my own rights. This is my crucial goal because I want to educate more people on how disabled people can live and work like everyone else.

There was shifty weather coming in South Florida and Greater Cincinnati during that month because of polar vortex. I was in South Florida all month. The region got 12 chilly/cool days - high temperatures of late 50's to 60’s and low temperatures of late 40’s to early 50’s. Greater Cincinnati obtained over a feet of snow. How crazy and insane I saw the weather! I felt like I don’t want to go back to my hometown, lol. 😂

My maternal cousin, Karen and her mom were coming down here and spending all weekend with me and my parents. We had a wonderful weekend together. All of us watched the Ohio State- Notre Dame championship game - Ohio State won the game! It was a very sad loss for Notre Dame fans and it was an incredible victory for Ohio State fans. I thought it was going to be an epic and historic championship game. (In fact, I am not a huge college football fan because I am not interested in watching college football games. I dislike Ohio State as well. But, I enjoy watching college playoff games like this because my family is rooting for their favorite teams like Notre Dame. lol.)

Me with my parents, my caregiver Amanda, my maternal cousin, Karen and her mom sitting in the table eating dinner at The Boathouse on Naples Bay

At the end of that month, I decided to start my own blog because I am determined to educate people (readers) about how disabled people navigate their lives and careers just like everyone else. And I am the role model for cerebral palsy and any disability that matters. The blog focuses on my life with cerebral palsy and my journey to success.
