Weekly Diary: September 5 - 11, 2025

Weekly Diary contains what I did and how I felt during the past week. Weekly Diary will be published on my blog every Friday, For special reasons, the weekly diary will be delayed by a day or two. Let’s read my new weekly diary of September 5 - 11, 2025!  This diary took place in Cincinnati, Ohio which is my hometown.

Friday, September 5 - I found out that there is something big coming at Metzcor. I am so excited to announce that I accepted the job offer from Metzcor. I will be working as a blog intern for Metzcor's CorMission which is a nonprofit organization that dedicated to providing community inclusion and job opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities. They have a T-shirt printing company, a coffee shop, special events, and recreational programs. It's a flexible remote position. I finally achieved my goal of getting a remote job!! I have been fighting hard for about three years to get a remote job. As I found out that I got a job, I was crying tears of joy 🥹. My prayers are answered.... I have waited so long for this moment. Metzcor made my dream come true. I have a job and business now. This is the first job I got hired for! I am so grateful and excited for this opportunity to write monthly blog posts for CorMission. I couldn't be more proud of myself for achieving my goals and dreams like this. I can't wait to watch my progress in work and business.
I love blogging! Earlier this year, I started writing my own blog that focuses on my life with cerebral palsy and my journey to success.  I never thought of blogging before. My dad suggested that I should write a blog. I am excellent at blogging. I write weekly diaries on my blog. The experience gave me a confidence in my ability to tell stories and show visual narratives. Blogging is my new passion.
I went to Cheddars for dinner - I got a nice Spasagna (A twist on lasagna- spaghetti layered with four cheeses and baked then finished with Alfredo and marinara sauce). The pasta dish was really good. It looked like Olive Garden. lol 😂

Saturday, September 6 - I attended my family friend's wedding in Covington, Kentucky. I felt sad I missed the ceremony because it was too hard to get into the church. But I felt so happy I was able to attend the reception. Before heading to the reception, I had a cocktail time at the hotel lobby next to the reception - I got a French martini. At the reception, I sat in the table with bridesmaids and groomsmen who are my family friends. The bridesmaids wore yellow dresses in different silhouettes. The food was good. The wedding cake was delicious. I loved how the reception was decorated. I went dancing with my family friends, my mom, and my caregiver. The wedding was beautiful and fun. I had so much fun!

Sunday, September 7 - I stayed home all day. I worked on my digital stuff. I watched the Bengals game- Bengals won 17-16. A comeback season opener win! I watched Wednesday, S2 E5 on Netflix. I had a good day today but the part of day was hard because I was in a somewhat frustrating mood.

Monday, September 8 - At Metzcor, They had PJs day as the start of the spirit week. I moved to a new space on the third floor where the executive office is located. My boss gave me a CorMission T-shirt for free and she wanted me to fill out my taxpayer form and give it to her. She said I will probably start a blog work this Wednesday.
Since I accepted the job offer from CorMission Friday, I shared news about my new job with my family, friends, and someone else who has worked with me. They sent me congratulatory messages. Their unwavering support and kindness means the world to me! ❤️   I couldn't be more grateful for all love and support I received from all of my wonderful people. 🥹 I thank God for blessing me with support and kindness in my life. I am truly grateful.

Tuesday, September 9 - At Metzcor, Today was Decade Day. I had my DSP give my taxpayer form to my boss in the morning. I had a field day with my group. We played fun outdoor games together. It was enjoyable and fun. The staff gave participants a medal.
I went to Anthony's Salon as a new client. At the salon, I met a new hairstylist Jenny who knows my loved ones. I discovered that I sat in a chair above the hair washing sink - it's much easier for me. The sink is lower. I felt so comfortable and satisfied with it. The salon is pretty clean and nice. I was getting a little haircut and curls! Jenny did a great job doing my hair. I loved it - She was so nice and sweet. I felt like she made me smile and happy. I rated 10!

I got my hair done!

Wednesday, September 10 - Today marked my first day as a remote blog intern at CorMission. It was so nice. I received the first blog post assignment from my boss. The first blog post topic is "Introducing CorMission". I reacted "I am 100% confident to write the blog post." I was given a little over two weeks to complete the blog post. I started working on it.
I spent long evening getting my nails and waxing done as I was preparing for my birthday weekend. Afterwards, I felt so hungry because I needed to eat dinner - it's a late dinner. I got a shredded chicken quesadilla and guacamole and chips from Bubbakoo's Burritos- it was really good.

Thursday, September 11 - At Metzcor, It was a crazy hair day - I wore a lot of tiny ponytails with colored rubber bands and Lilly scrunchies. It was crazily pretty!
I had physical therapy, and it was fantastic! I worked diligently to enhance my strength and balance. I stood up frequently. I even touched a physical therapist’s hand in various positions while standing up using my hands, which was a breeze for me. I sidestepped, performed side bends, kicked a yellow rubber ball, and grabbed a small pink dumbbell to do arm bends. My strength level was exceptional! I felt incredibly energetic and strong! I was so proud of myself for making progress in my physical strength and exercise journey! ❤️ 💪
Crazy Lilly Hair!

The past week has been wonderful for me. It was filled with excitement, relaxation, fun, joy, laughter, positivity, and wellbeing. I am grateful for what I did during the past week. 😁🥰
