Weekly Diary: June 13 - 19, 2025
Weekly Diary contains what I did and how I felt during the past week. Weekly Diary will be published on my blog every Friday, For special reasons, the weekly diary will be delayed by a day or two. Let’s read my new weekly diary of June 13 - 19, 2025! This diary took place in Cincinnati, Ohio which is my hometown.
Friday, June 13 - I reunited with my dear friend, Karen. I've known her for 9 years. We caught up a lot together. We had a great dinner @ Incline Public House which is located at East Price Hill, a historic neighborhood in Cincinnati. The restaurant features iconic skyline views of the city and an outdoor deck. They serve great food and drinks. I had a Grippo's Mac and Cheese bites I shared with Karen, a salad with candied walnuts, apple, cheddar, and maple vinaigrette, and a maple bacon glazed grilled pork chop with parmesan mashed potatoes and asparagus. I started watching Ginny and Georgia Season 1 on Netflix- I feel like it's a beginning of a good show and it's somewhat similar to Gilmore Girls, a 2000s family drama TV series that follows the journey of a teenage girl and her young mother in a small town.
Saturday, June 14 - I started my day with exercising in my bed for 20 minutes before getting up. I ate a store-bought banana walnut pound cake for breakfast- it was a simply delicious breakfast. I continued watching Ginny and Georgia Season 1 on Netflix. I reunited with my caregiving friend, Alex who is currently pregnant at a local Italian family restaurant close to my house. We talked a lot about our updates, experiences, and plans and ate dinner together. We had a great time. She invited me to attend her baby shower later this month. I thanked her for the invitation. That was thoughtful of her. When I got home from dinner, I had to buy some baby girl clothes for Alex's unborn baby daughter.
Sunday, June 15 - I celebrated Father's Day with my family especially my dad at my cousin's house. We spent time talking and having fun together. We had a nice fried chicken dinner. I continued watching Ginny and Georgia Season 1.
Monday, June 16 - I went to see my new OB/GYN doctor. She's nice. My health is very normal. I don't need an internal exam until next summer. She said I need to stand more because I sit too long.. I stood up for a couple of minutes and I will continue doing that every day. At home, I put away my cleaned clothes with assistance. I got a Fuji apple salad with chicken from Panera for dinner - delicious. I video called my bestie, Laura. During our video call, we spent almost 2 hours talking together. She announced to me that she is pregnant! 🤰 I expressed my surprise and excitement - "Oh my god, I cried like tears of joy!" She is having a baby girl. She stays together with her boyfriend. He supports our friendship. He said I am a very sweet friend. Laura made my dream come true. I am becoming an aunt! I am the only child. I wish I could have a sister that would take care of me but that didn't happen. Laura and I are sisters by heart not blood. She showed me her baby bump and I saw her ultrasound. Her due date is November 10th. I am so excited! 💕 I can't believe each of my three caregiving friends are now expecting a baby girl this year. I love baby girls more than baby boys but I love children, lol. This was the best news I've ever heard from my bestie!
Tuesday, June 17 - At Metzcor, I took Zumba class. It was so much fun. Zumba is a dance-based fitness class that combines Latin music and dance moves. It is an effective way to improve cardio performance and burn belly fat. I had my waxing done at European Wax Center. I went to Outback for dinner
.
Wednesday, June 18 - I worked on designing important material for my entrepreneurial career. I went to see my eye doctor - my eyes are incredibly normal. I ate Colombian arepa for dinner via DoorDash. There was a dark sky with heavy rain and a lightning storm appearing around my house in the evening- I feel like it's like an iconic scene of the Wizard of Oz. I saw my mom acting like the Wicked Witch of the West on a broom when she got home. Hahaha.
Thursday, June 19 - At Metzcor, I got a chance to create a M pendant necklace through 3D Printing! The employee, Sean taught me how to use 3D Printing machine and software. WOW, I am so impressed by how the 3D Printing machine works. The printing of the pendant lasted about 15 minutes. It was a quick printing process! I love it 😍 It was such a wonderful learning experience. I felt so grateful to discover how cool and creative the design is created through the 3D printing process. I am gonna study 3D printing online. Maybe I could sell 3D jewelry in the future. Sean is the BEST!
I went to the physical therapy clinic for my weekly session and it went well. I saw a familiar lady who worked as my aide in my high school and greeted her. She was so happy to see me. I got a caprese salad and a Mediterranean pizza with pesto sauce from Strong's Brick Oven Pizzeria - what a great dinner!
