Weekly Diary: May 23 - 29, 2025

Weekly Diary contains what I did and how I felt during the past week. Weekly Diary will be published on my blog every Friday, For special reasons, the weekly diary will be delayed by a day or two. Let’s read my new weekly diary of May 23 - 29, 2025!  This diary took place in Naples, Florida which is my Florida residence and my hometown of Cincinnati, Ohio (at the end of the weekly diary).

Friday, May 23 - I started my day with eating my favorite quiche for breakfast. I enjoyed working on my own things and watching entertainment via my iPad. I went outside while the cleaners were cleaning the house. I got a blue smoothie from Tropical Smoothie Cafe and a thin-crusted pizza with pork from Pizza Hut which I shared with my dad via DoorDash for lunch. My parents and I went to Sam Sneads for dinner - I had a raspberry martini, fried mozzarella triangles, Atlantic salmon, and a coconut cream pie which I shared with my dad - 😋

Saturday, May 24 - I was going to Brio @ Waterside Shops for dinner and then see Lilo and Stitch live action movie at Regal Cinemas. I wore a blue outfit in the honor of Stitch, everyone's favorite blue alien dog. Lilo and Stitch was such a wonderful live action movie. Beautiful music. Stitch sounded impressive. The cast was amazing. The scenes were heartwarming and hilarious. The ending made me cry - it was pretty emotional. I loved the performances especially Stitch. They did a fantastic job. 10! The movie didn't disappoint and it was Disney's better live action remake. It's a must see family movie! It might be added to my favorite movie list. I can't wait to see the movie again when it comes out on Disney Plus and hopefully, I will be eager to see the sequel someday! 💙🥹🏝️

Sunday, May 25 - I got a Strawberry Blintz Platter with Bacon and Scrambled Eggs from Skillets for brunch- yummy. I packed something more for Cincinnati with assistance. I went to Turtle Club for dinner with my parents and my caregiver, Amanda W. It was my first time visiting the restaurant in three years. At the restaurant, we all sat in the outdoor patio table in the front of the beach - Amazing Seats! I had a Frose Cocktail, Jumbo Lump Crab Cocktail as a starter, Mixed Greens Salad with Gorgonzola and Pears, Grilled Petite Filet and Turtlefeller Oysters as a main course, and Orange Sunshine Cake as a dessert. What a lovely meal! We enjoyed watching the beautiful sunset together. But the sky had some clouds. When I got home from dinner and got ready for bed, I spoke an appreciation message to Amanda W. She cried. Afterwards, she hugged me when we stood up. ❤️🥹

Monday, May 26 - Memorial Day - "Remember the fallen, honor the brave." It's a special day to remember my grandpa who fought in World War II as a U.S. veteran. He passed away when I was 5 years old. He was such a brave and wonderful man.  I stayed home all day. I ate a cinnamon roll for breakfast- yummy. I enjoyed checking my daily essentials via my iPad. I ate leftover fried mozzarella triangles and a potato skin for lunch. I went through my jewelry and packed them for Cincinnati. I quickly exercised. I edited my PT video on Premiere Rush. . My mom made a pork tenderloin dinner for me, her, my dad, and my caregiver.

Tuesday, May 27 - My caregiver from Cincinnati, Nya arrived down here. We had a happy reunion. It is been less than 3 months since we last saw. Nya is helping me and my parents fly back to Cincinnati this Thursday. Nya, I, and Danielle were heading to the beach for the sunset one last time. On our way to the beach, we got Pollo Tropical for dinner. Pollo Tropical is a Florida-based fast food restaurant chain that serves Latin and Caribbean food. They offer delicious meals including tropical chop bowls. This was my first time eating Pollo Tropical. I tried Avocado Cilantro Tropichop Bowl with Grilled Chicken (white rice, black beans, grilled chicken, mashed avocado, and cilantro garlic sauce) and it was so delicious and fresh. I loved it. I also got sweet plantains - yummy. I loved how they prepared fresh and delicious food inspired by Caribbean tastes. I thought it was a great place to bring food to the beach. I would love to eat it with again when I get back to Florida. We enjoyed watching the beautiful sunset on the beach one last time. I shared a goodbye hug with Danielle. I will see her in two months for our vacation. Shortly before bedtime, Nya and I shared a brownie sundae my mom brought at home - yummy.

My cerebral palsy doesn’t stop me from enjoying the beauty of the sunset!! 🌅

Cerebral palsy may shape how I move, but it doesn’t stop me from enjoying the beauty of the world around me—especially the sunset on the beach. I may arrive differently, but I still feel the ocean breeze, hear the waves, and watch the sky turn gold like everyone else. The sunset doesn’t care how I get there—it just welcomes me with open arms.

Wednesday, May 28 - it was my last full day of FL season. I started my day with exercising in my bed for 25 minutes. Afterwards, I got dressed for PT and I ate a blueberry muffin for breakfast. I saw the deer spotting in our backyard through the indoor window - how insanely neat! . I checked in Delta online. I worked out with my FL physical therapist, Dr. Chris and it was fantastic! This was my last session with Dr. Chris. But he will be back to work on my exercises later this year. He is the best physical therapist. He always makes me maintain my body strength and balance. I feel accomplished and proud of how I have worked hard to maintain my body strength every day. I shall never be afraid to do something like that.... Strength is my superpower! I went to Tommy Bahama for dinner with my parents and my caregiver, Nya. I enjoyed being at the restaurant and listening to music. I got a glass of Chardonnay and Crab Cakes dinner. After dinner, we had to do final preparations for our scheduled departure to Cincinnati. I got to send my appreciation message to my caregiver, Danielle. She thanked me and loved it.

Thursday, May 29 - I quickly got ready to leave for Cincinnati, my hometown where I was born and raised. It's hard to believe it's the last moment of my 4th Florida season. I was experiencing mixed emotions. 🥹🥰 I am gonna miss Florida. It was such a fantastic season filled with fun, relaxation, laughter, and adventure. I feel like I am staying positive every single moment in the best of both worlds. I left home around 9:20am and headed to the airport around 10:10am. It's 40 minutes away from my FL house. I ended up arriving less than 2 hours prior to my flight departure. I made it to the departure gate around 11am, approximately an hour before my flight departure after doing adaptive TSA screening. My flight left around Noon. I ate a blueberry granola bar and watched a movie on the plane. This was my only one thing to eat before dinner- I didn't get to eat anything before granola bar and then didn't eat anything until dinner since it was a long day. I finally landed in Cincinnati at 1:50pm! As I entered the airport from the gate, I noticed that there was a few changes at the airport. I spotted Bengals Bar, automatic doors for baggage claim, and Jeff Ruby's digital ad display. I left the airport around 2:40pm and finally got home around 3:30pm! At home, I took a shower. I ate Skyline (Cincinnati chili) for dinner- yummy. I felt very hungry because I didn't get to eat anything after eating only one thing due to my long busy day! I had a good day today. I felt incredibly grateful to return to my hometown! ☺️😁 And I am back to my hometown for a half year. I will be back to Florida in December!

I Finally Made It To My Hometown, Cincinnati!

At the Baggage Claim - I am heading home!
