Weekly Diary: May 16 - 22, 2025

Weekly Diary contains what I did and how I felt during the past week. Weekly Diary will be published on my blog every Friday, For special reasons, the weekly diary will be delayed by a day or two. Let’s read my new weekly diary of May 16 - 22, 2025!  This diary took place in Naples, Florida which is my Florida residence.

Friday, May 16 - I stayed home all day. I continued looking for remote jobs. I received a menu of the coffee shop which is located at Metzcor in Cincinnati via email. I ate my leftover Cheesecake Factory pasta for lunch. I met the local home care agency workers wit my parents. I enjoyed meeting them. The agency is just an emergency if something happens to my parents and current caregivers. (In fact, I am an overseer for caregivers. It means I am responsible for overseeing, scheduling, and handling emergency situations with caregivers. I have had many caregivers since I was a toddler. Some of my caregivers are friends with me. My parents taught me how to oversee caregivers. I feel pretty confident in overseeing caregivers.) I got Panera via DoorDash for dinner- yummy. I also ate a cream puff for dessert. I worked on my graphic design. I watched some entertainment while working on my graphic design through iPad.

Saturday, May 17 - I wore a casual look for Tommy Bahama where I went for dinner. Items I wore: INC by Macy's white blouse with beige botanical embroidery on fluffy short sleeves, Chico's white no-stain casual bermuda shorts, Spring Step's White Mary Jane Shoes, gold crystal palm tree earrings, sand starfish pendant necklace with beads, Tory Burch's gold shell ring, and Lilly Pulitzer's gold shell cuff bracelet. I call the outfit "White Paradise Casual". ๐Ÿ˜‚ I thought it was a perfect casual outfit for Tommy Bahama in late spring/early summer. Tommy Island is a paradise-themed restaurant that serves handcrafted food and drinks inspired by the roots of island and beach. They also offer a seasonal menu. It's one of my favorite restaurants. At the restaurant, I had Bahia Sangria (Brandy, Red Wine, Pomegranate, Oranges, Green Apples, Lemons), Citrus Whipped Ricotta (topped with blackberry jam and served with grilled sourdough bread) as a starter, Baby Gem Caesar Salad, as a side salad, and Pinwheel Lasagna (Vegetarian, mushroom bolognese sauce, zucchini, ricotta, and lemon arugula) as a main course. What a wonderfully delicious and fresh meal! Citrus Whipped Ricotta and Pinwheel Lasagna were a part of the seasonal menu. I loved how healthy and delicious the food was. I also enjoyed listening to music ๐ŸŽถ I had a wonderful time at the restaurant.

Sunday, May 18 - My dad flew back to Cincinnati for a work trip in the morning. I started packing my stuff to be taken to Cincinnati where I will be coming back in a week and a half. I worked on my story presentation via Canva. I started scheduling caregivers for July. My caregiver and I dropped my mom off at the restaurant close to The Pewter Mug where I am going for dinner with my caregiver. Afterwards, we ate a great dinner meal at The Pewter Mug - I got a Salty Whiskey Watermelon Margarita, Escargot, Tossed Salad, Cup of Italian Wedding Soup, and Beef Stroganoff. I ate like a pig lol. But, my stomach felt great. We picked my mom up from the closest restaurant. When we all got home, we ate a delicious cream puff together.

Monday, May 19 - I was getting ready for my first dinner at Alexander's Garden Restaurant. I wore a Tommy Bahama V-neck navy blue/forrest green multi floral maxi dress, silver butterfly earrings and necklace, silver rings, and Pandora tropical charm bracelet. I also wore a 3-braid ponytail in my hair with a nude scrunchie. I headed out to the restaurant with my mom and my caregiver, Danielle. My mom told me about the restaurant a few weeks ago before visiting the restaurant for the first time. At the outdoor restaurant, I thought my dress would match the restaurant's garden when I saw the garden. We all sat in the patio. Alexander's offers innovative food creations inspired by a modern taste of Europe cuisine. I had a glass of Chardonnay, Phyillo Wrapped Shrimp with spicy dipping sauce (the sauce tastes like a buffalo sauce) as a starter, Watermelon, Burrata, & Tomato Salad, Berkshire Pork Chop with caramelized apple, Potatoes dauphinoise (scalloped potatoes), and roasted vegetables, and Hot Love Sundae as a dessert (Vanilla Gelato with fresh raspberries, warm raspberry rum sauce, and a tiny scoop of whipped cream (chantilly cream). What a lovely dinner meal! The food was amazingly delicious! The sundae was the best I've ever had! I LOVED THE RESTAURANT!! ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜ 10/10! Remember, Alexander's Garden Restaurant only opens from mid-October to late May each year. Therefore, snowbirds go back north during summer months. They change their menu seasonally. Highly recommend it!

Tuesday, May 20 - I exercised in bed for 25 minutes before getting out of bed- bridging, bridged march, side hip abduction, and leg raises. I did great. I actually looked at these exercises online last night. I ate a cream of wheat for breakfast. I kept looking for remote jobs. I ate a leftover whipped ricotta with sourdough toast from Tommy Bahama for lunch. I worked on packing and organizing my wardrobe. I had my waxing done. My mom made a hot dog dinner for me, her, and Danielle - yummy.

Wednesday, May 21 - I started my day with exercising in bed like yesterday morning. Exercising in bed makes me feel mindful of my body and maintain my active lifestyle. I felt somewhat sweaty ๐Ÿฅต after exercising. I ate a half of broccoli cheddar quiche for breakfast. I headed out to the beach for my 9th and last beach day of the season along with my caregiver, Danielle and her mom. At the beach, I ate a delicious to-go lunch - a ham sandwich on Hawaiian roll, grapes, and sweet potato chips. I got in the water twice. At second time getting in the water, the big waves blew out on me a lot while sitting in my beach wheelchair. I felt like I got a huge splash by the waves! ๐ŸŒŠ  I really enjoyed being on the beach because it relaxed me and made me feel positively motivated. On my way home, Danielle's mom shared a goodbye hug with me when she was dropped off at her condo and she realized I will be back here in December. What a heartwarming moment. When I got home, I ate a leftover watermelon tomato salad, leftover phyilo wrapped shrimp, and a crab fried rice for dinner. It was a good meal. I also ate a few candies - yummy. I had a great day. Although today was my last full beach day of the season, I am just going to the beach for sunset this Tuesday because my caregiver, Nya who stayed here for a week with me in March is coming back that day. She will be helping me fly back to Cincinnati next week. I feel so grateful about having a wonderful time on the beach. Beach is my all time favorite place to enjoy and be relaxed. I will miss going to the beach during daytime... I will be back later this year!

Thursday, May 22 - I slept until 7:45am then exercised in bed for 15 minutes. I ate a blueberry muffin for breakfast. I enjoyed being on my iPad all day long because I checked social media, emails, texts, and calendar, and looked for remote jobs. I ate a healthy turkey wrap for lunch - it was good. The wrap has a lot of veggies. I worked out with PT and it was great. I recorded the video of my full PT workout via my iPad. My stuff was shipped to Cincinnati today- exactly one week before I go back to my hometown of Cincinnati! I went through my hair accessories and packed them for Cincinnati. I couldn't pack independently sometimes because of my cerebral palsy but I need help packing my stuff. I create a packing list so it's easier for my caregivers to find and get out my own stuff and then let me look at it. I felt so accomplished on packing and shipping my own stuff with assistance on time. I ate a leftover beef stroganoff from the Pewter Mug and a tossed salad for dinner - yummy. I enjoyed watching Lilo and Stitch animated franchise on Disney Plus - I first saw the original movie as a 5-year old girl when my dad took me to the theater and I loved it. I admire Lilo and Stitch because they both became best friends and shared their special bonds together. Stitch is everyone's favorite blue alien dog. He's always chaotic but he's cute and friendly. It's one of my favorite childhood franchises. I am so excited to see the live action version of Lilo and Stitch this weekend!

The past week has been great for me. It was filled with excitement, relaxation, fun, joy, laughter, positivity, and wellbeing. I am grateful for what I did during the past week. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿฅฐ
