Weekly Diary: April 18 - 24, 2025
Weekly Diary contains what I did and how I felt during the past week. Weekly Diary will be published on my blog every Friday, For special reasons, the weekly diary will be delayed by a day or two. Let’s read my new weekly diary of April 18 - 24, 2025! This diary took place in Naples, Florida which is my Florida residence.
Friday, April 18 - Today was the last Friday of Lent (aka Good Friday). "May this Good Friday remind you of how deeply you are loved." I stayed home all day. I ate a Wawa banana bread for breakfast. I created Easter ecards for my loved ones and bestie which will be sent via email on this Sunday (Easter Sunday). I ate apple with peanut butter for lunch. I shopped online on Lilly Pulitzer website so I bought a new beautiful scoop neck top and elbow length sleeved dress in a bright pink and lavender print, Rousseau Pink Zen Garden. I used gift cards to buy them. I was coloring Easter eggs with my mom, my caregiver, Amanda, and her teenage niece. Easter Egg coloring is our annual Easter tradition. There are 3 easy steps to create Easter eggs- 1. Write or draw on a hard boiled egg through a magic crayon. 2.Dye the egg in a colored cup and let it soak for a few minutes before the egg is fully colored. 3. Let it dry and then decorate it with glitter, stickers, and tiny embellishments. It's a fun and simple activity to celebrate Easter. I colored my eggs- "CP Princess" green, "Barbie" pink with glitter, "Fashionista purple with glitter, and tie-dye pink, green, and purple. We got Millers for dinner via DoorDash- I had breaded fish with Mac and cheese - yummy. Amanda and her niece brought Nothing Bundt Cakes for dessert - mini assorted Bundt cakes. I ate strawberry, blueberry lemon, and confetti Bundt cakes- yummy. They are the best Bundt cakes I've ever ate! π
Saturday, April 19 - I ate a banana walnut muffin for breakfast - delicious π I chatted with my bestie who is from Colombia - she is still waiting to receive her work permit renewal. It will take about 2 to 4 months to receive it. She applied for her work permit renewal 3 months ago. Most immigrants will apply for a work permit renewal six months before the expiration date. She should have applied 6 months ago. She seemed to be stressed out and frustrated. She is expected to receive her work permit renewal between June and August with her new drivers license- yikes! I am glad my bestie still can work without inconvenience. I went to Ciao Bella on Marco Island for dinner- it was fantastic. I had a glass of Chardonnay, escargot, side tossed salad with Italian dressing, chicken francaise with angel hair pasta, and a perfect dessert pair - chocolate martini and tiramisu. Drinking a chocolate martini made me feel so refreshed and energized! π€ͺπ

Sunday, April 20 - Easter Sunday - He is Risen! My mom and I got First Watch for brunch via DoorDash. I had a lavender berry French toast with an over-easy egg and turkey sausage links. We were watching the Easter live mass on YouTube together while eating our brunch. I played "Hide and Seek" Easter basket around the house and I got 3 baskets- new underwear, 3 new jewelry items, an ice cream gift card, and a bunch of candies. I went to Ocean Prime on 5th Avenue for dinner with my parents and caregiver. This was my first time celebrating Easter Sunday with a caregiver accompanied by my parents. At the restaurant, I got a 4-course meal with a glass of Chardonnay- Chilled Crabmeat Cocktail appetizer, Ocean Prime Salad, Oscar Style Filet Mignon with whipped potatoes, and chocolate peanut butter pie - what a fanciful and delicious meal!
Monday, April 21 - I ate a leftover lavender berry French toast from First Watch for breakfast. I made a phone call through a text-to-speech tool regarding my waxing appointment. I worked on lists of my wardrobe. I double checked Princess Cruises regarding my upcoming cruise vacation. I ate a leftover filet mignon from Ocean Prime for lunch. I went to Wynn's for grocery shopping for this week's meal plans. I ate a salmon pot pie meal for dinner and leftover chocolate peanut butter pie for dessert. I organized pictures of my jewelry and created a few designs of jewelry items. I put jewelry items on these designs I also organized my photos and files. I played scratch lottery and I won $12.
News I saw via social media: Pope Francis has died. I enjoyed watching his religious journey. He was such a wonderful, kind, and peaceful pope. Millions of people have blessed him with warmth and grace and love. May God bless his soul! ✝️
Tuesday, April 22 - I ate a blueberry muffin for breakfast. I worked on my wardrobe lists. I filled out the mobility questionnaire for my upcoming cruise vacation with assistance of my dad and I sent it to the cruise office via email. I ate a leftover lemon asparagus linguine with grilled chicken from Carrabbas for lunch. I typed up an itinerary for my aunt and her daughter who are coming this Saturday and they are staying in my house for a whole week. I took a beautiful walk and exercised at Baker Park - one of my favorite Naples parks. The park has numerous trails, outdoor gym equipments, wonderful wildlife, and a view from the bay. I ordered some more derby stuff for my mom. My caregiver prepared pierogies with kielbasa, mushrooms, and onions for dinner so I ate it- it was delicious π I also ate last pieces of leftover chocolate peanut butter pie from yesterday for dessert. The colored lights are installed in my pool - I saw it. This was the coolest thing I've ever seen. I read Vogue fashion magazines online.

Wednesday, April 23 - I went to the beach as my 8th beach day of the season. (Beach Season means whenever I go to the beach during the season I am in Florida every year. This season, I have been living in Florida for over 4 months and will remain in Florida until the end of May. As I end the season, I would reach closer to a six month Florida stay limit annually. Because of the stay limit and my permanent Ohio residency, I would make up fo two weekend visits to Florida per year while I live in Cincinnati.) 19 years ago on this day, my paternal grandmother, Mary passed away when I was 9. At the beach, I was watching her in heaven. I made a little bit of tears in my eyes. "Grandma Mary, thank you for everything you did for me. I will always remember you. I grew up. You would always be proud of me. I love and miss you so much." My grandma loved me very much and she loved spending time with me very much. I remember when I drew something cool on construction papers with her. She thought I had a talent for drawing. That moment made me dream of becoming a fashion designer and entrepreneur. I felt so grateful and blessed to spend time with her for my first 9 and a half years. She will always be in my heart. ❤️ I ate a roasted turkey dinner from Wynn's for dinner- yummy.
Thursday, April 24 - I worked out with my physical therapist and it was great. I visited Marsh Trail/Ten Thousand Islands National Wildlife Refuge. My caregiver suggested that place. There are two handicap parking spots in the front of the entrance to the hiking trail. Marsh Trail is a 2.2 mile hiking trail round trip and is open during daylight hours only. The accessible observation tower is 1/4 paved miles from the parking lot. Wading birds roast close to the trail during the winter months and the next in the mangroves during the summer. The trail is available for hiking, biking, wildlife observation, and photography. Migrating songbirds can be found in the trees along the hiking trail during the fall and spring. Alligators and other wildlife can be found all year round with a diligent eye. The hiking trail is fully accessible. I enjoyed exploring the trail. It was wonderful to observe wildlife from the accessible tower. The habitat was so dry. Unfortunately, I didn't see any alligators there. It's a great hiking spot for nature lovers and wheelchair users!
I ate spaghetti and turkey meatballs for dinner- delicious. Turkey meatballs are much better and healthier than regular meatballs. I booked dinner reservations for my upcoming cruise early because most reservations are booked up fast. I watched a video of Princess Cruises' accessible stateroom tour on YouTube - that's where I will be staying on the cruises. The stateroom is so awesome! Little over 3 months until BON VOYAGE! π³️
