2026: What A Fresh Start Really Looks Like For Me

Image
2025 was an incredible year for me. I took three major trips, landed my first remote job, explored exciting new opportunities, and continued my journey in self-employment. Even with a few setbacks along the way, I stayed optimistic and ultimately achieved one of my biggest dreams. Every January, we hear the same familiar phrases: new year, new me, fresh start. While they’re meant to inspire, they can also create pressure—the idea that once the calendar flips, we’re expected to instantly transform into a better version of ourselves. For me, though, a fresh start isn’t about perfection or overnight change. It’s about intention, growth, and honoring where I am right now. That’s why 2026 feels especially meaningful. This year, I’ll be turning 30 in September—a milestone that feels both exciting and empowering. Instead of reinventing myself, I’m focusing on aligning with the person I’ve been growing into all along. One of my main goals this year is continuing to grow my remote career. W...

My monthly diary, a compilation of my meaningful experiences from the past month, will be published on my blog on the first day of each month. Occasionally, due to unforeseen circumstances, the monthly diary may be delayed by a day or two. Let’s delve into my new monthly diary of December 2025, which was set in my hometown of Cincinnati, Ohio and Florida where I currently live seasonally.   First Weekend of December  This was the last weekend before I went back to Florida. In Cincinnati, I had to celebrate Christmas with my friends and loved ones.  Friday, December 5- I went to Maggianos for dinner with two of my friends, Stacey and Ashley, and Ashley's baby daughter. We caught up together and did gift exchange. As I am preparing to meet my baby niece in person, I tried to hold a baby independently but she was too small to move under my arms - she was 2 months old. I did a nice try. I can hold a baby with assistance. Next time, I will try to hold a baby independently as s...

Let’s delve into my new monthly diary of November 2025, which was set in my hometown of Cincinnati, Ohio.   Graeter's New Flavor Friday, November 7 - I visited Graeter's ice cream shop to try a new ice cream flavor, close to my house. Graeter's is a Cincinnati based ice cream shop chain that sells handcrafted French-Pot ice cream as well as chocolates, pastries, and sweets. Graeter's first opened in 1870. They have been selling the best ice cream they ever tasted! The most popular flavor of ice cream is Black Raspberry Chocolate Chip (purple ice cream with chocolate chip) - it's in the heart of the Queen City. At Graeter's, I have loved a welcoming and charming atmosphere. It's like a legendary place to enjoy ice cream!  T...

I listened to the album on Spotify. I love her new music. It sounded like a Showgirl and burleque dancer. It made my heart entertaining and delighted.  Wish List and The Life of a Showgirl are my new favorite songs. Wish List is a new song about what you want to do or dream of something. The Life of a Showgirl is a new titular song that sounds like showgirls entertain and shine brighter.  I went to see the Life of a Showgirl official release party film. The film made me love and appreciate the new album.  Me at the Show...
