I am so excited to announce that I accepted the job offer from Metzcor. I will be working as a blog intern for Metzcor's CorMission which is a nonprofit organization that dedicated to providing community inclusion and job opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities. They have a T-shirt printing company, a coffee shop, special events, and recreational programs. It's a flexible remote position. I finally achieved my goal of getting a remote job!! Hi, everyone! I am Marisa Conners, and I write this blog that focuses on my life with cerebral palsy. I am sharing five biggest misconceptions I've ever learned as a person with cerebral palsy. Let’s read my new weekly diary of August 29 - September 4, 2025!  This diary took place in Cincinnati, Ohio which is my hometown.  Friday, August 29 - I helped washing cars including my mom's car @ Metzcor - it was enjoyable and fun.  I went to Giovanni's which is close to my house with my mom and my caregiving friend for dinner. I got Chicken Piccata. We all got a tiramisu for free.  I video called my bestie.  Me using a sprinkler gun to rinse cars! @ Metzcor Car Wash  Saturday, August 30 - I stayed all home all day and worked hard on my digital stuff. I wrapped my friend's baby shower gift with hands-on assistance. Let’s read my new weekly diary of August 22 - 28, 2025!  This diary took place in Cincinnati, Ohio which is my hometown.   Friday, August 22 - I got an opportunity to go to the Bengals field with Metzcor. It was a practice before the preseason game. I met some players including Karras and McPherson. UNFORTUNATELY we didn’t get to meet the Fab 3 Burrow, Chase and Higgins. I re-watched the first movie on Disney Plus. I have seen it before and I loved it. It is still one of my childhood favorite movies. I said "I am freaking excited to see the sequel movie! Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis are freakin' back!" I laughed through the movie. After seeing the movie, I loved it so much. This diary has a similar format to my Weekly Diary. Let’s read my special diary of July 25 - 30, 2025!  This diary took place in Cincinnati, Ohio which is my hometown.   Friday, July 25 - I got a new foldable wheelchair. I have been using it since I was a kid. The foldable wheelchair is a manual wheelchair that features 4 small wheels, flipped armrests, and rotated footplates. Honestly, it doesn't have big wheels which people use their hands to roll. I can't roll big wheels using my hands. I wish I could use a joystick to roll myself around. I used a joystick to roll at the school. I really want to use a joystick to roll someday. I have someone push me using a handle or joystick. I can also use my feet to wheel myself at home.
